Harlo Diversified Canadian Real Estate Trust closes on its first asset.
On March 12th, the Harlo DCRET acquired a 111,500-sf, 359-unit, purpose-built student accommodation, located in Barrie, Ontario. This acquisition is part of our strategy to deliver high-quality real estate investments with strong long-term potential and marks a significate milestone for the Trust.
Shake Shack opens its third Canadian location.
Our newest Shake Shack opened on February 12th inside Yorkdale Shopping Centre. This prime third location is situated at the top of the first escalator leading to the mall’s food court—just above Coach—and features a beautiful indoor patio where guests can enjoy their meals. The space is also adorned with vibrant artwork by Toronto-based artist Vivian Rosas.
Zoning Bylaw Amendment approved for 1802 Bayview.
On March 19th, we received the Ontario Land Tribunal’s ruling in favor of our Zoning Bylaw Amendment application. The project now has approval for development of a 46-storey, 319-unit, 311,700-sf residential building. Presently, we are focusing efforts on enacting the bylaw with the city of Toronto.
